Now that you have read 2 sources from the learning websites, I would like you to post at least 1 comment about one site on our Week 2 blog. Note that everyone in the classroom can see everyone else's answers, like a "letters to the editor" page. This is different from last week, when all your homework went directly to the instructor.
I would also like you to find 1 more site that has to do with sines, cosines, or pi, and post a link to the site on our Week 2 blog. The Internet is large enough that you can find a site to comment on that is unique for the class. If the blog is unable to make the link "hot" (click and it takes you to the site), then remember to include "http://www." (without the quotes) when you mention the link so we can cut and paste it into our browsers.

Our site on http://www.quia.com/ should contain the games that are associated with the sine/cosine/pi/radians chapters of your book by now. All of the vocabulary we have encountered this quarter is available in game format for the next exercise. You have a choice between flash cards, word search, and the Challenge Board. I would like you to complete any 2 of the exercises on the site. The site should allow you to notify me when you have completed your tasks, if it doesn't send me the notifications automatically.
Now that everyone has had the opportunity to add a link about radians, sines, cosines, or pi to our blog, I would like you to choose one link that someone else posted on the blog and tell us in your own words how it relates to the chapters you completed on the http://www.quia.com/ site.
The next exercise for the week is from your textbook. You can either turn in the exercise on paper, or you can use the form below to turn in your homework. It is suggested that you create a copy of your final answers with NotePad (or any word processor) and save it before cutting and pasting into the area below.

The next unit we will study is all about tangents. The equation for a tangent is simple:
tan = sin / cos
or, The tangent is equal to the sine divided by the cosine.
A Co-tangent is equal to the cosine divided by the sine.
