WEB DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT  

The definition of web development depends on both the developer and the audience.  A site that allows an eighth grader to publish a blog is much simpler than a secure e-Commerce site whose content is located in several data centers around the world. Neither of these definitions have much to do with content management that allows businesses to document products and procedures, or facilitate cross-team collaboration.

• Simple Sites describes the types of sites that are used by individuals who have no interest in the inner workings of a Web page.
  
  
• Some non-proprietary Web Sites that I have developed have a quick description and a link to their location.
  
  
• The Cloud contains information about how to maintain the Internet that these individuals are joining.
